The Unwritten Rules of Farcaster: Cast A Lot*

When the Warpcast team says: Cast a lot* to be successful and be eligible for airdrops and rewards, that’s a huge oversimplification. 

There’s a BIG asterisk in there that’s invisible, but important understand. You need to cast things that are going to get engagement. Casting for castings sake isn’t going to work out in your favor. 

75-80% of casts on Farcaster get zero engagement. That means no likes, no comments, and no recasts. This is bad.

This is a really interesting read Pichi , I barely used farcaster before and used to get some orphaned casts when I occasionally posted. 

For the past 2 weeks (basically since CTG started) I’ve been casting often and getting decent engagement too. It started out accidentally just posting memes and thoughts about the game and now I’m trying to be more intentional about casting consistently and maintaining quality. But also people have been asking questions about how I’m able to rank on the rewards board. This is a good place to point them too!! Thank you for sharing.
