Since the core team isn’t doing it, maybe we should make clankers that target with 5% supply new users

I’m reminded of DeFi folks only airdropping to existing DeFi users and governance participants or cosmos ecosystem airdropping only to atom stakers. Sure, you need to keep your existing users happy .. but you also need to onboard more people!

This doesn’t mean you need to give away lots of funds, large share of you cap table to random people on the internet. However, airdrops are an amazing trick to get people to explore a new ecosystem. I once bridged to Avalanche and cosmos to claim some airdrops.

Their mistake was that they didn’t build anything valuable, interesting that retained people in the ecosystem.

Farcaster has lots of interesting things but needs a strategy to bring more people here in the first place!

If the Farcaster team doesn’t bring new people, maybe the shitcoins should target people outside farcaster.

totally agree! airdrops are a cool way to get ppl interested, but you gotta have the goods to keep 'em around too. hope farcaster steps up their game! 🚀
