I came across @paperview and decided to try it out. I figure I'll post some thoughts about it.
Posts on paperview mini app are focused on either image or video. There's no way to add text content. Images are easier to start with, but I have no doubt that video posts will far outperform. People love videos (TikTok, Youtube, etc), and it's just a fact that videos are the medium of choice. I used the mini app, and the post creation was a fast simple process.
For viewing, one would need to add funds and then open any posts that interest them. The 'feed' is quite limiting in that it only displays a set amount. Without infinite scrolling, those that are looking to browse will have a bad experience. It'll need its own follower system, or integrate adding warpcast's following, or a search feature.
There is a referral system (share and earn) built in I haven't personally test out, however it can be nice for those who want to curator content. Couple with Farcaster and this could be a powerful combo. 0 reply
