Apparently there's a lot of people of Farcaster that don't know what Ham is. These numbers don't account for Floaties tipped, or caster tokens - only Ham. They also don't account for Ham tipped pre onchain tipping.

I love and am in awe of of the mechanics and network. Tbh, the problem is it’s a bit convoluted for most people to understand. Although it has its own chain, it’s been positioned as a meme play, and if that’s the case, it has to be super stripped down and simple to win attention.

Thank you! 🫂 Its super power is that the tipping is onchain. The attention breakage point is there are 3 main tokens: Ham, TN100x, and Eth for gas. Me and you understand it, and it's obvious to us, but the reality is if it takes more than 2-3 seconds to understand, people will move on to the next thing. Especially now when virtually all these tokens are a fraction of a US penny, the juice isn't worth the squeeze for most people and they move on to the next thing. 🙂

Yes that’s fair and I agree. Its complexity comes from continuous building. It’s not KISS, it’s not meme coin lottery, it’s build and keep building until find something that sticks in the attention economy. It was 0-50k holders quickly, I’m baffled by the plateau of holders since, especially with tipping on Farcaster but is tough to socialize and market.
