Apparently there's a lot of people of Farcaster that don't know what Ham is. These numbers don't account for Floaties tipped, or caster tokens - only Ham. They also don't account for Ham tipped pre onchain tipping.

the scope of lack of awareness around how floaties, ham chain and caster tokens work is baffling

I love and am in awe of of the mechanics and network. Tbh, the problem is itโs a bit convoluted for most people to understand. Although it has its own chain, itโs been positioned as a meme play, and if thatโs the case, it has to be super stripped down and simple to win attention.

Thank you! ๐ซ Its super power is that the tipping is onchain. The attention breakage point is there are 3 main tokens: Ham, TN100x, and Eth for gas. Me and you understand it, and it's obvious to us, but the reality is if it takes more than 2-3 seconds to understand, people will move on to the next thing. Especially now when virtually all these tokens are a fraction of a US penny, the juice isn't worth the squeeze for most people and they move on to the next thing. ๐

Yes thatโs fair and I agree. Its complexity comes from continuous building. Itโs not KISS, itโs not meme coin lottery, itโs build and keep building until find something that sticks in the attention economy. It was 0-50k holders quickly, Iโm baffled by the plateau of holders since, especially with tipping on Farcaster but is tough to socialize and market.
