Does anyone else look at security audits before investing? ... I feel like this should be more commonplace since crypto has a lot of hacks?

Got an audit done on a project, no one cared or looked at it. Found it was a waste of money from the projects side unfortunately. Because i agree with you, should be standard practice and common place

How much should I read into a project like Orca having a low score compared to Raydium? Like even if the project doesn’t get an official audit, are these score still valuable?

I wouldnt read into it too much, personally. Assuming that’s the certik skynet, some of those use arbitrary values to weigh social graphs, age of project & whether or not they have done an audit with them to score. I’m assuming to try and entice projects to audit with them. As long as audit hasn’t exposed critical issues, the scores wont change much. Atleast based on what I know. But i’d get a second opinion on that.

Yeah this is certik Skynet For context, I’m attempting to do some due diligence for future LP positions. I feels weird putting money into a DEX that’s got a B score, but like you said that might not be completely accurate. Any thoughts on evaluating security of defi things if not replying on audits?
