SEC approves BlackRock's application to trade options for a spot bitcoin ETF The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved a joint application by BlackRock and Nasdaq to launch trading in options on the shares of spot bitcoin ETFs. The agency has authorized trading and listing of this product for the iShares Bitcoin Trust under the IBIT ticker symbol.
