yeah i really have no idea how to handle it. people are just unabashedly uncreative about it. turns the feed into nothing but giveaways. not what i made this for

My high level thesis on this generally:

1. When money can be made easily (saying gm, replying nonsense), it will be.
2. Most people will do the bare minimum.
3. Tips being free incentivized easy farming.
4. Character limit reduces quality content possibilities.

While @tervo could mass ban (and should, to retain /replyguy quality), the giveaway only folks will flock to another channel.

It’s a bandaid on the problem for Farcaster/Degen, but a solution for /replyguys.

Anyone else have ideas on how to combat it?

the algo for degen allocation needs to be adjusted so it doesnt cater to engagement bait posting, idk how to solve it but the reason you see so much of it is because its the best way to get more degen, people wouldnt spam it if it didnt work
