What would happen if there was an economic system designed to trend prices down to only the cost of labor & raw material inputs? What if all R&D were publicly available royalty free? Could society figure out fair allocations & a new mechanism that rewarded the largest givers? Imagine if you lived in feudal times when capitalism took hold.

Intriguing concept but challenging to implement fairly and sustainably. societal restructuring would be necessary
