Tether (the issuer of USDT) reported a record profit of $5.2 yd for the first half of 2024. Tether's reserves in US bonds amounted to almost 100 yd. This is more than countries like Germany, the UAE or Australia. Almost a yd of profit per month. Tether employs less than 100 people. Many financiers simply refuse to believe these numbers.
