what's the best compliment you've received about your work?

wasn't meant as a compliment but one of my lecturers at university told me that they could tell that work was mine without my name on it 

in the commercial graphic design/gun for hire scenario, this it not a good thing as you're expected to adapt to clients/markets, etc
