How long will you go out of your way
for people who don’t love you the same?
Aren’t you exhausted?
You blame yourself enough, but
I understand why you’re feeling defeated,
stomped on, abused and
mistreated.

Audio engineer, fondness for music and general audio, also a crypto lover and trader

You walk down alleyways gaslit with vitriol,
simply because they’re familiar.
And I wonder how much more it will take
before you realize that the simple act of not giving up
is proof of your strength.
You remain gentle in the face of evil,
combat violence with kindness,
and somehow,
move forth with only love.
