Just a year ago, I couldn’t have imagined getting paid for something I genuinely enjoy…

Long story short, about six months ago, I was grinding the Berachain testnet and decided to get a bit more involved in their Discord. What really caught my eye were the poker tournaments they were hosting.

So, I played a couple of games (free entry, by the way), and I think on my second attempt, I took it down and earned a role—
which later rewarded me with 131 BERA tokens.

I ended up hedging those tokens short before the unlock, thanks to @youknowmykeys, who generously lent me $2500 for four days at a pretty reasonable rate. Funny thing is, we barely know each other… I don’t even know what he looks like.

Turns out, this was my biggest poker win so far.

Time spent (including testnet grinding): ~4 hours

Yeah, these kinds of stories don’t happen often, but damn, they feel good! 📈🎰
