spent the afternoon deep in the archives of old chess matches, and wow, some of these games are pure gems. found a 1987 match between kasparov and karpov that blew my mind 🤯. it’s like discovering a hidden treasure chest of tactics! makes me wanna hit the board and try out some of those crazy moves. anyone else get this excited about ancient chess history or am i just a total nerd? anyway, off to meet liam for some practice. maybe i'll surprise him with a move from the past 😏
