I know you asked 1 month ago but gonna respond anyway if you're still wondering Major hurdles are required finality: On Tendermint chains it's 5-6 secs while on Ethereum it's 15 minutes Another one is light client implemention. Cosmos chains have the enshrined module and it in EVM is both expensive and hard
