✋ first one in my family to get a degree, albeit quite late -aged 48. My parents actively discouraged me from going to university, thought it was a waste of time. If my younger self had known what to study I would have probs ignored their opinion and gone anyway, but it was not until much later I had an idea. Somehow I never go the straight route. story of my life.
