Neelam Theatre. Chandigarh 

The building was constructed in the early 1950s, as was the entire city of Chandigarh, under the leadership of the French modernist architect Le Corbusier. The local architect Aditya Prakash was responsible for the design of the cinema itself.
The building hasn’t been restored and looks just like it was originally designed 70 years ago.

Neelam Theatre, like the city of Chandigarh itself, is a real time machine. For anyone wanting to take a trip back to the mid-20th century and planning to visit India, I highly recommend it 🇮🇳
