what if it all works out just fine?

what if we’re creating a better system for our children?

Point being.  This opinion seems to pop up on the regular on FC that if only the world were purged of pessimists then we’d be living in solar punk utopia.

In realty pessimists are an evolutionary check on reckless optimists leading us to ruin. Just like optimists are a check on over cautious pessimists driving us into cultural cul de sacs.
