Difficult question to answer without violating op sec, but I’ll ask it anyway.

Personal multisigs. 3 sets of seed phrases for a 2/3.

Are people storing the seeds separately? At home and elsewhere? Isn’t it very difficult to access the multisig splitting seed storage across locations?

That’s my understanding too. 
Storing them together is no better than a cold wallet.

But then distributing and accessing the seeds when you need to seems like a logistical nightmare.

You have to not only trust the people you’re storing the seeds with, but trust they’ll take their own adequate security measures.

There is no purpose in storing the splits in the same location, so yeah I would assume you need to distributed each split/shard
