No I'd say that was the leftist plan but Biden ran against it. Average and median wages increased, but the federal minimum wage still $7ish/hr while rents have doubled in the past few years. The Dem narrative is the economy is good because their capitalist metrics are good but that doesn't help the working class and they don't get that.

This. The "Goldilocks economy" is leaving a lot of people behind. People would rather throw the dice on a risky bet to dramatically shake things up, than watch themselves fall further and further behind. The DNC closed the left wing roulette wheel in 2016, so now the punters only have the option of playing at the right wing craps table.
