It’s symptom of the meritocracy paradigm. They’re some of the richest men in the world ergo they must be some of the smartest, savviest men in the world and couldn’t be possibly be subject to the same neuroticisms, insecurities and logical fallacies as the rest of us. Or.. success is largely a function of right time right place (aka chance) biology (which is also chance). In which case the fact that these men in particular have accrued immense wealth and power is arbitrary and they’re subject to all the same flaws as the rest of us. Most people carry all the hangups of their childhood with them their whole life and these people are no exception.
