I'm pro-mitigation of climate change but I don't think about Greta Thunberg even 1/4 as much as Balaji or others who seem to get so enraged by her all the time

he's just throwing every unlikable character or group from the last 100 years into a pot and saying 'if you're not on the side of e/acc' you're just like these people.

I'm still unclear on exactly what e/acc means. Is it acceleration of AI development, or fossil fuels? The industrial economy in general?

It’s a bit I’ll defined, but seems to mostly advocate for “accelerating” human development by unleashing some kinds of techno utopian future via minimal regulation of capitalism’s growth model.

Anyone who critiques capitalism or argues for regulation is branded a “decel”. Think anarcho-capitalist.
