which tells me you don't really know what moxie farmer bots look like.

moxie farmer bots saturate cast replies with mechanical content, such as below.

the markers:
>casts too regularly (every five minutes, every hour, for 24+ hours)
>casts are too regular (length, verbosity, emoji usage all drift together)
>casts too often (wake casts 1000 times/ week; this user casts 1000/day)
>is very poorly integrated (not followed by credible users)

Good example of replying to every cast with a low effort reply even if positive / well-intentioned. It's fine to do occasionally. 

Doing this at-scale is farming and spammy.

But would replying casts too fast appear as being targeted in a spammy way?
