The Supreme Court of Montenegro has decided to submit the extradition case of DoKwon, co-founder of TerraformLabs, to the Minister of Justice of Montenegro to decide whether to extradite him to the United States or South Korea. The court believes that the United States and South Korea have met the conditions for extradition. Kwon is facing charges for the collapse of the Terra ecosystem he participated in in in 2022, which triggered a series of bankruptcies for cryptocurrency companies. Kwon's whereabouts remained unknown until 2023, when he was arrested in Montenegro.
