And I think it gets more important as tech gets more powerful. I love the quote from Minouche Shafik, from London School of Economics: "In the past, jobs were about muscles, now they're about brains, but in the future they'll be about the heart." We used to do physical labor, then knowledge work, and now heart?

🥹 It is, right? I've spent a lot of time thinking about this stuff. Last year I gave a talk at a tech conference about leading with heart, how as tech people we've been trained to solve problems with our brains, but we need to develop heart muscle to become leaders.
