Slawn, a young Nigerian artist of 24 years old living and working in London, ranks unchallenged as the author whose popularity has skyrocketed in 2024.

According to US online broker Artsy, the number of people who searched for Slawn's work on the site and were interested in his work increased by more than 1000%. Artsy users' search queries and whish-lists are a good indicator of what is now appealing to collectors.

GQ magazine recently named Slawn “the UK's most talked about young artist” and “person of the year”. His name is indeed on everyone's lips, not only in the art world, but beyond - thanks to his collaborations with Rolex, Louis Vuitton and other famous brands.

Slawn's works have also been successfully sold at auctions. In particular, in March his work Alara, Ajero and Orangun was sold at Sotheby's for £31,750.
