How do you feel about the narrative of “not launching a token at all”? It’s being pushed on CT, interesting that people think here.

On the one hand, launching a token potentially gives unlimited long-term community incentives. But in practice, it usually doesn't work as expected.

On the other hand, what stops from distributing a portion of revenue to super-loyal fans?

IMO reason why people expect tokens is because they promise unlimited upside.

I think too many tokens are currently released.
As you said, I think releasing tokens may not work properly.
If you give rewards to loyal users in a different way, wouldn't it be necessary not to release tokens?
