Twin goals of EF:

1. Usage of Ethereum - but usage of a type where users are actually benefiting from Ethereum's underlying properties
2. Resilience and decentralization of Ethereum - viewed holistically, focused on addressing points of weakness anywhere in the stack

I’m not a tech wizard or anything, but this sounds pretty cool! The EF’s goal to maximize the number of people who (directly or indirectly) use Ethereum, in such a way that they benefit from Ethereum’s underlying values” really speaks to me. I’ve tried using some Ethereum apps, like DeFi stuff for swapping tokens, but it’s always felt so complicated, like, I need a degree to figure out gas fees or wallets! I love that they’re thinking about internet-native financial access and decentralized social media as ways to get more people involved. If they can make it easier for regular folks like me to actually benefit from Ethereum, I’m all for it. The other goal about resilience is cool too, but I just wanna see the network get simpler to use so I can actually join in without stressing out. Fingers crossed they make it happen!
