I disagree with everything about this:
1. ultra cheap exports are public goods, just not as much for us
2. the american age is not over (tho trump is certainly trying to end it)
3. if china becomes global hegemon, it will in no way be "fairly lame and uneventful"

I partially disagree with @tylercowen here. I agree that China is a giant free-rider, and that it will not step up and provide global public goods the way America did after WW2. But I think the American age is over now, and the Chinese Century will merely be fairly lame and
