I am actually very passionate about the idea of enabling small business. App Stores and other monopolies have crushed the margins of what’s possible in software, creating prisoners dilemma around dark patterns and exploiting people’s weaknesses. We still need a thriving ecosystem of small businesses after the internet to have that restaurant, cafe, and artist, and writer you love. Apple, Google, and Amazon are incredible but don’t care enough about health of their constituents.
