I think of writing on FC like a smaller booth on the convention floor. It may not get prime foot traffic & everyone may not stop by, but the people looking for it have it starred on their map. I'm on FC for many reasons; revenue from writing isn't really one of them. My livelihood is 'helping people tell their story better' & writing is a large part of the content I create. I do that here, but as part of the journey of wanting to explore & be a part of 'web3.' It has led to some great connections that did lead to revenue. But I attribute that to 'just being me' on FC. I appreciate the people who seek to build up writing on FC. I recently joined /firstdraft by @markfishman and think he's doing a great thing for writers & FC. The renewed building of /words by @benroy likewise is providing another venue for mutual encouragement as I see @wanderloots.eth @joanwestenberg.eth @debbie posting here I'm edified & encouraged. Hope to see many more. @danicaswanson thx for the prompt that made me think & write!
