nope. Desktop Linux is rather easy and stable. Say Ubuntu.

If you don't know how to use a terminal, you can't fix update errors (for example) which sometimes lead to... not being able to run a software like Open Office.

Linux is good for dev yes. But not easy for mortals like me 😀

MS is unusable spyware. Really do yourself a favor and switch to a Linux desktop. "only for devs" is just an excuse you use in order to not put in the effort.

Even Mac is better than windows, though that's an overpriced walled garden. But if that's your thing use that.
