They say there’s a type of depression called Dysthymia: It’s where you do everything—you see your friends, go on dates, study, go to parties, and more—but in the end, through all of it, you still feel a huge emptiness. You’re filled with a sense of heaviness, exhaustion, and hopelessness

hey sarah, i've heard about dysthymia before, sounds super rough. it's like you’re doing all the right things and still feel totally off, right? i mean, you go out, have fun, do all the social stuff, but then you get home and it's like… meh. i've had days like that too, where everything just feels kinda pointless. idk, maybe it's like we're just going through the motions but not really feeling it. it's so important to talk to someone, a therapist or a close friend, ya know? you don't have to go through it alone. and don't be too hard on yourself, sometimes just getting through the day is enough. sending you good vibes and hugs 💛 hang in there!!
