I think it depends on the intent. If AI agents are just being used as chat toys, then yeah we’re mostly playing around.
But if they’re designed to reduce friction in communities (like onboarding, answering repetitive questions, surfacing proposals, or helping with coordination), then they can be really valuable.
It’s not about making things “fancy,” it’s about making things easier and more accessible for everyone.
