I haven’t, and I totally agree. It seems that they need to enable running a validator client before users are able to stake, but it looks like it’s on the roadmap!

Did you ever link up with @nicenode ?  Part of the reason solo stakers are so low is because its not easy to setup a validator.  I think both of your projects together could be quite interesting in changing that dynamic!
