This structure was built in the 1990s to represent Portugal in Lisbon's 1998 World Expo, by Portuguese architect Ćlvaro Siza. The theme of the expo was āThe Oceans, a Heritage for the Futureā to commemorate 500 years of Portuguese discoveries.
