waffling on the thought of launching an nft project - which is inevitably a slow rug for most all of us builders who want to keep building and trying more things. and folks, myself incl, are realizing the builder slow rug more than ever. how to learn? does your first nft project have to also be your final nft project?

Roadmaps for NFT projects are an anti-pattern. Ideally: ship interesting experiences that are self contained (on chain metadata/image) and composable (metadata exposed cleanly) on chain. It gives the option to keep plugging new stuff in and it frees original devs from implied ongoing obligations.

Keeping the mint price free or only a nominal amount will go a long way to assuage the feeling of slow rug guilt. I have seen folks set outrageously high mint prices for a test project that they were obviously going to abandon; it is not a vibe and also misleading to those folks who genuinely want to support your work
