they need to create and return value flows to different market participants in such a way that they are positive sum on a longer time horizon

i want to know more about the top of the funnel. fundraising and business revenue share

my imagining (which may be limited) is:

- it would be voluntary but could become a social/cultural standard
- revenue share makes most sense. from any business that is selling to the higher network or benefiting from attention distribution/amplification as a result of using the higher name/branding
- fundraising could be a one-off like a NFT mint or in-person event, or direct donations

it could also be a hypersub or something for exclusive perks/community
