Rabid climate activists are doubly wrong:

1. Earth is just a dumb rock— one of billions in the universe.

2. People are nature’s best shot at survival in the long term. When an asteroid inevitably hits the Earth, we'll be the ones to save it.

to equate energy with fossil fuels alone is non-sense, and we could definitely source energy from things that aren’t emitting as much carbon into the atmosphere, although I agree I don’t think we’ll be able to go without them totally 

I agree we need energy for new knowledge

do you care about protecting earth as a place for future knowledge discoveries to take place from? (as human habitat, and as resource of new medicines, bio-tech etc)

e.g. that we should stop using fossel fuels
