One of the sadder and more frustrating experiences working in larger organizations is seeing people who step in to fix problems being rewarded more than people who prevent problems from ever happening. If youโre a problem-preventer you have a second job to do which is making sure people know your value. (Unless you donโt care about recognition, raises or promotions)

Recognition for prevention is just as important as recognition for fixing issues. Preventing problems saves time, resources, and frustration in the long run
