any recommendations for cursor-type ai powered code editors? extra bonuses if i can plug in my own api keys and *especially* if it has a good agent mode

have mostly used cursor and windsurf so far but wanna find something I really like even more before i'd consider subscribing to one

iirc plugging in your own keys is against most TOS

against the tos of the code editor or the llm provider? a lot of code editors and other tools let you paste in your llm api key

llm at least that's what i thought, was about 6 months ago that this topic came up with a company I advise

would love to learn that's not that case any more & the llms offer a sign-in with but they haven't yet
