FC is full of builders. Let’s keep builders adding value rather than seeing them spin-off into community sucking parasites that treat FC as an ’ad’ distribution network.

I have massive respect for this team. I hope that’s not lost in the back & forth. 

It becomes largely counterfactual to call out warnings from a year ago so I bark in the moment & see what lands. They will build what they want to build & I believe their intentions aren’t evil or overly extractive.

There is no agency here. Devs are leaving & worse are sending a false signal of acceptance by using FC as an ‘ad’ distribution network. That’s the main issue atm. Devs are leaving. Reflecting on why doesn’t seem to be a priority. Making wc successful so that the rest will follow is sadly the m.o.

The irony. iirc one of our first interactions here I was like dude just tell me & stop leading me down the garden path.😆Topic was power of hub operators & their social power. I learned that day but was annoyed 🙌🙏

Never thought about it, but yes, the Socratic method does not work in chat mode, especially if the parties involved are not IRL acquaintances. 

Questions are easy to misread as statements, or concealed concerns, etc. The method is hard even IRL, where there is 100x more communication bandwidth and context.
