This reminds me of the pre election campaign in Nigeria, all the candidates said they would remove fuel subsidy, but we didn't really care much as it hadn't happened then, then when the current president finally removed it and we started feeling the impact, then we realized what they were all saying but, we started blaming the current President and calling him incompetent. Would it have been different if it was another president, maybe, but what's certain is that any of them would have done the same thing he did.
