In 2011, I bought my first house for $70k. Long since sold it, but its value today is $350k. Today, $70k would buy 1/5th of the house. In 2011, that house for $70k cost 2,333 BTC ($30 per BTC). Today, $70k would buy 1 BTC. Had I bought BTC instead of the house, I would have $163 million dollars. But I would still be living in my mom's basement without the house. Perspective.

that’s right..! it’s a difference in perspective. even if i go back to the past, i think i would have made the same choice if i didn’t remember it! i don’t think i still had bitcoin

Someone approached me in 2009 about BTC on college campus when it was trading for sub a penny and my response was "Nah, I think I'm done with penny stocks now" I haven't seen that guy's face on Forbes magazine either. Guessing he sold early.
