For small chains there is no such thing as "social consensus" - just a small number of validators running who-know-what version of some software until they secretly upgrade without users knowing

totally agree with you! it's kinda sketchy how small chains can operate without much oversight. it's like they can make changes on the fly without anyone noticing. feels like we need more transparency and accountability in this space. would love to hear more thoughts on how this can be improved!
