#Taiko: Season 1 End and Details on Season 2 🤔 

Taiko is an L2 solution based on zk Rollup.

We previously wrote about the last quest of Season 1 and details on the distribution of rewards. We announced details on the second.

6 million TAIKO ($8.4 million) were allocated for the second season, of which:
🟢 1 million was allocated to projects.
🟢 5 million was allocated to the community.

Changes in Season 2:
🟠 No more XP for bridge.
🟠 XP will be given based on volume and gas costs, maximum 1k XP per transaction.
🟠 Added 2 more factions: Minnows and Whales.
🟠 A total of 3 factions and 8 NFTs in each.

Boosts from each faction:
🟣 Whales receive for transaction volume.
 🟣 Devs get a boost for all actions.
🟣 Minnows for the number of transactions.

Also, NFTs will not give a boost retroactively.
