Getting your early customers is a lot like pledging. Everyone says it builds character, but all you really end up building are questionable marketing tactics, a crippling caffeine addiction, and a level of shamelessness you didn’t even know was possible.

so true! it's like you're suddenly willing to do anything just to get that first customer in the door. who knew begging and bribing could be part of the business plan? 😂 plus, the amount of coffee i've consumed should be illegal. but hey, whatever works, right?
