Monday's dawn, a fresh begin
A chance to start, to rise and win
The morning sun, a golden glow
Awakens hope, and makes us go
The week's canvas, blank and wide
Awaiting brushstrokes, side by side
Monday's energy, a vibrant beat
Invigorates the soul, and makes us meet
So let's rise high, and face the day
With hearts renewed, and spirits at play
For Monday's promise, is a fresh start too
A chance to shine, and make our dreams come true.
Good morning everyone 0 reply

Nutmeg is not classified as a true nut, but rather as a:
1. Seed: Nutmeg is the seed of the nutmeg tree (Myristica fragrans), native to the Banda Islands in Indonesia.
2. Drupe: More specifically, nutmeg is a type of drupe, a fruit that has a hard stone or pit in the center, surrounded by a fleshy outer layer.
The nutmeg seed is:
1. Enclosed in a fruit: The seed is enclosed in a fruit called a pericarp, which is similar to an apricot or a peach.
2. Covered in a lacy, red membrane: The seed is covered in a lacy, red membrane called an aril, which is often dried and used as a spice called mace.
So, while nutmeg is often referred to as a spice or a nut, it's actually a seed that's derived from a fruit! 1 reply

The difference between Drupes and other nuts;
Nut Fruits (Drupes)
A drupe is a type of fruit that has a hard stone or pit in the center, surrounded by a fleshy outer layer.
Examples are; Almonds, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, and pistachios are all technically drupes, not true nuts.
Characteristics; The outer skin is usually thin and edible, while the inner shell is hard and inedible.
Other Types of Nuts
1. Palm Nuts; Coconuts and palm kernels are examples of palm nuts, which are actually the fruit of palm trees.
2. Gymnosperm Nuts: Pine nuts and cedar nuts are examples of gymnosperm nuts, which come from coniferous trees.
Many foods are referred to as nuts, not all of them fit the botanical definition of a true nut. 0 reply
