DON’T ARGUE WITH DONKEYS 

The donkey told the tiger: "The grass is blue." The tiger replied: "No, the grass is green."  

The argument escalated, and they took it to the lion, king of the jungle. The donkey asked: "Your Majesty, isn’t it true that the grass is blue?"  

The lion replied: "Yes, the grass is blue." The donkey celebrated: "See? The tiger disagrees and annoys me. Please punish him."  

The lion declared: "The tiger will be silent for five years."  

The donkey left, repeating: "The grass is blue!"  

The tiger asked the lion: "Why punish me? The grass is green."  

The lion said: "True, the grass is green. But your punishment isn’t for being wrong; it’s for wasting time arguing with a stubborn donkey—and for bringing such nonsense to me."  

Don’t waste time arguing with those who ignore truth. Silence is often the best response to ignorance. Your peace matters more.
