i hate the job market bs. all my successes were because i knew the person/community/stuck around/got involved, no cv needed my resume is my street cred. i've had far more failures in fake ass professional engagement "interviews" with "hr". i really think that realm will and should disappear at some point, it's unproductive, inhumane and robotic - causes more issues.

i'll keep going it gets worse when the economy squeezes everyone, less time for leisure, friends, family, and self exploration, full on work and we're expected to stay pinched in wearing the "professional" suit physically and mentally. we've got to loosen up the meaning of this term, professional = get the job done and deliver on time, any other bs like "you have to talk this way, behave like that and look a certain attire" crap is not what professionalism should mean, obviously there are limits.
