I’ve given in to peer pressure and bought an Intel NUC to start running a Quilibrium node over the weekend. I’m too mid to fully understand the project but I trust @cassie’s vision 

I saw @demipoet’s guide with two options: Docker or native install. Which one should I go for? Would Docker make upgrades easier?

Ahh true good point. You can skip the grpc/rest api part since it’s not necessary to run the node unless you want remote access to it. 

And ideally it should just be git clone, install go, build the node directory and execute ./release_autorun.sh

Ok, I’ll try native. The install looked quite a bit more convoluted than with Docker, though. I’ll try to not mess it up

This will be a dedicated machine sitting alongside my ETH node. I just hope the ISP modem can handle all those peer packets 😅
